The Resnet is an investigator registry conceived by the ESPU Research Committee to spark linkages and foster collaborations between investigators interested in Pediatric Urology. Pediatric Urology is defined broadly as all aspects of congenital conditions affecting the genito-urinary system, as well as GU conditions acquired in childhood, and which may persist across the lifespan. Progress in Pediatric Urology can only succeed through integrated efforts between investigators. ResNet aims to connect researchers focused in any aspect of the full depth and breadth of research strategies from population health and policy through clinical research, physiology, and genetic, epigenetic, and molecular science.
In practical terms, if you are an active investigator, this is a site to list your investigative interests, expertise, and areas of ongoing research focus, and potential willingness to share tools, skills, reagents, populations, and biological samples. It is a site to learn about ongoing investigation and expertise of others. If you are a new/early investigator and/or are interested in joining and contributing to a research effort or need assistance with your work, this is a forum to list specific research needs, challenges, gaps, and willingness to participate and collaborate with like-minded investigators. In short, the site is dedicated to bringing all levels and investigator disciplines together, including physicians, allied heath professionals, and basic researchers, to elevate the range of expertise and effort for the advancement of Pediatric Urology care worldwide.
